Stop dizziness for good by fixing your mineral deficiency.
I suffered with severe dizzy spells for 20 years.
Then it suddenly stopped!
Here is how…
I would lose my balance completely, stumbling through the hall like I was having a stroke. I felt as if I was going to die each time I had a severe dizzy spell. The entire room would spin, and the result was me hurling my guts out.
Doctors didn’t know why, in fact, they all seemed to come up with a different diagnosis depending on who I saw. It was very frustrating, because at the end of the day, there was nothing I could do to stop it.
I tried so many things, but my head would spin no matter what. Then one frightful night, I felt as if someone was strangling me, like I couldn’t get enough blood to my head. I was sure it was my heart. I was sure my life was about to end.
I staggered through the hallway early one morning after getting up to go to the bathroom. I couldn’t even walk. I bawled as I felt my way along the hallway back to the bedroom where my husband lay sleeping.
I frantically woke him up.
I told him I thought I was having a stroke or a heart attack, so he immediately got up and took me to the hospital. We expected the worst. When we got there, all my vitals were normal. Not even high blood pressure.
No signs of anything at all.
Even when I had a dizzy spell right there on the hospital bed, they took my vitals and said I was normal. They couldn’t see any reason why I was having these spells. It was very embarrassing and I’m sure they wrote me off as a hypochondriac.
Sure, my health wasn’t the best at that time. I recently put on weight due to menopause and every muscle in my body seemed to ache, but I had a sound mind. I was not making things up.
It was then that I decided, no more doctors! They couldn’t help me anyway. Whatever this was, had to stop! I was totally on my own.
Feeling hopeless about the dizziness, I took a trip to the local health food store and thought at least I could find a natural muscle relaxant for my aching body. I thought at least that would help me feel better.
I couldn’t help but think that was related to my dizziness somehow.
I was given Magnesium Citrate by the manager at the natural health food store, and was told it would relieve my muscle pain. I tried two tablets when I got home, and waited. Nothing.
I took some more the next day, and my muscles started feeling better. By the end of the week, I was shocked that I hadn’t had a dizzy spell since taking the magnesium.
Was it really that simple? After a lot of research, I discovered I was severely magnesium deficient. And yes, you might say that’s not confirmed by a doctor, but I don’t care. I had seen enough doctors in my life that could have suggested trying magnesium, but they didn’t.
So, you can thumb your nose at me if you want, but having a doctor confirm a mineral deficiency was the least of my worries. I didn’t care. I just wanted to get better.
So here I am, 5 years later, confirming that a lack of magnesium in my body was the culprit. I haven’t had that kind of severe dizziness since taking magnesium, and I’m not going to stop.
Am I self-medicating myself? You better believe it! And I’m proud of it!
I not only have prevented my severe dizziness, but my muscles are feeling a whole lot better. I still have some minor light-headedness due to some neck stiffness now and then, but it ain’t like it use to be. Not by a long shot.
Today, I try to take care of myself as best as I can. I’ve lost weight, eat right, and find natural remedies for menopause. I feel great, and I promote a holistic lifestyle. I’m not saying to stop going to the doctor completely. Just combine their wisdom with your own.
Be your own health advocate, especially during menopause.
A woman’s body changes, and that is the ugly truth. We go through stages. It just so happens mine is in menopause. Every woman will get there some day so we better be prepared.
During the change, we endure a lot of body stress, and it’s that stress that uses up our magnesium by the boatload. Doctors won’t tell you that. Most have no clue. You can’t even take a test for magnesium deficiency, at least not an accurate one. You need to seek a naturopath to get that done, and even then it’s sketchy.
You can’t even get enough magnesium in your food these days, and if you do, it’s totally not enough. I found out the hard way that depleted magnesium in your body can make you ill, fast! The health problems are too numerous to mention them all, but I will say that if you lose enough magnesium, your heart will fail and you will die.
My quest is to try and help women so they don’t have to suffer so immensely like I did. You’re going to have to purchase magnesium as a supplement and take it every day. Lots of it! I have given you a breakdown of the various kinds available on Amazon.

It’s what I started out taking. It’s great, but it’s a natural laxative as well, so if you don’t need a laxative, then move on to a different type. It will also damage the ceruloplasmin and hence bound copper, and not recommended by the MAG group. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then choose another magnesium.
Epsom salt is pure magnesium. It’s a sulfate, and therefore cannot be ingested. You can use it in the bath to relax, and you probably never even knew it was magnesium.
When I found out that Epsom salt was magnesium, I was thrilled. I couldn’t believe that I had found a source of magnesium that was cheap and relaxing. All I had to do was dump a couple cups of Epsom salt in my warm bath, and let my skin soak it all up.
This is a powder of magnesium that you put in your drink. It really helps you calm down and relax at home or at work.
This is a drink as well. It has 25 mg of magnesium per serving, and it is said to be absorbed in the mouth and stomach, rather than digestive system. I’d recommend trying it, I did. This exact brand actually. Who knows, you may find this type of magnesium works best for you. Everyone is different, and what works for one person, may not work for another. It’s all about trial and error and finding what suits you best.
I soon discovered that there is a magnesium supplement out there in pill form, that is not a laxative. Magnesium Bisglycinate. It is a chelate, and in my opinion is the best form of magnesium supplement on the market. The reason behind this is because it is the most bioavailable. Bioavailable is a fancy word for absorption, so in other words this one is absorbed better in our body.
Magnesium Bisglycinate also bypasses the digestive system and goes directly to the brain. It gets absorbed into the blood easier than the other forms of magnesium because it has a better bonding agent. Magnesium has to be bonded to something in order to use it as a supplement. If our bodies can’t break that bond to absorb it, we might as well be taking nothing at all, because it won’t absorb. That’s why Magnesium Bisglycinate is considered to be the best form of magnesium supplement because it’s the most bioavailable.
It is a slippery liquid made out of magnesium chloride flakes. You spray it on your skin to absorb the magnesium so it goes right to your bloodstream. Be careful not to use too much too soon. I did, and had spots like measles all over my body for a week. Lesson learned. Just start slowly. That goes with anything new you introduce to your body.
Mineral Spa
Relax at your favorite natural mineral spa. The water is full of magnesium.
Foods with Magnesium
I wanted to lightly touch on foods that contain magnesium, just to let you know that if you’re diligent, you can get a lot of magnesium through your food, but not all. These days, foods that are grown do not contain as much magnesium as they used to. Our soil has been depleted of it over the years, so much so that the mineral is almost gone.
There are however, some food sources that are still high enough to be beneficial as a good source of magnesium. These are the top ten.
- Dark leafy greens
- Nuts and seeds
- Fish
- Basil lentils
- Whole grains
- Avocados
- Berries
- Bananas
- Dried fruit
- Dark chocolate
I hope you will try magnesium today!
