Let me introduce you to a shocking new way to lose stubborn menopause weight. Have you ever heard of the Eat Stop Eat method?

Eat Stop Eat is a form of Intermittent Fasting.

Most people haven’t even heard of Intermittent Fasting. If they have, their attitude is usually quite negative. People think it generally isn’t good for you. People think that you’re going to be starving yourself to death, or that you’ll become anorexic. Generally, they think intermittent fasting is some crazy fad that doesn’t work.

It’s NOT!

I am here to tell you that it DOES work! It’s the most beneficial natural fat busting menopause program ever!

Let me tell you my story.

As I entered into menopause, I began to put on weight.  I had never struggled with weight my entire life! I could always eat whatever I wanted without any negative affect. I was always a healthy 130 -150 pounds. Menopause changed all that! I grew bigger and bigger every day, and I was spiraling out of control. I had no waist at all, and a big saggy belly. I didn’t even recognize myself. I was uncomfortable in my own skin. I had terrible rib pain and I couldn’t figure out why. I started realizing it was all the extra fat hanging off my ribs. I couldn’t get comfortable at all. Looking back, I shake my head. I knew I had to do something or I was going to suffer the consequences of the extra fat. I knew if I could see my fat on the outside, then there must be fat on the inside around all of my major organs as well.

That was not good! And NOT acceptable!

At that time, I was awaiting the birth of my first grandchild. I wanted to be healthy so I could run around and play with her. I would spend hours crying because I knew that I couldn’t even go for a walk without getting tired. How was I going to be the active grandmother that I wanted to be? I tried everything to lose the weight!

I tried eating like a bird.

I tried eating only vegetables.

I tried speed walking.

I tried going to the gym.

Nothing helped! I was so frustrated that I couldn’t lose the weight!

Then one day it all changed.

A light bulb went on when I found a new method of eating called Eat Stop Eat. I was SHOCKED at how well it worked, with very little effort! At first I didn’t tell people what I was doing because I didn’t really think it would work. But little by little I began to see the pounds drop off. My friends started asking me what my secret was.

Intermittent Fasting!

Just EAT stop EAT!

It’s as simple as that!

I lost a total of 50 pounds within a year.

It’s been a few years now and I’ve managed to keep it off without any effort at all. And that’s without becoming a gym rat, or eating like a bird, or changing what I eat. I try to eat healthy, but If I want a hamburger or ice cream, I’m going to have one! I don’t feel guilty anymore when I go out for a treat!

The idea behind intermittent fasting is the Eat Stop Eat method.

It’s a shock to your system when you don’t eat, and that shock signals your body to eat something else. YOUR OWN FAT! Your body grabs food from wherever it can because it’s afraid it will starve.

It’s a metabolic trick.

We aren’t really starving ourselves, but our body thinks so. All it has to do is wait a few hours. Technically, what your body does when it thinks it’s starving, is it starts burning fat for fuel instead of sugar. Normally your body just burns the sugar that it eats, but when you fast you dip into the reserves so to speak. It uses up the fat storage.

Every body stores fat for rainy days.

We simply trick the body to dip into the rainy day fund!

Once you understand that and start the process, you will see the pounds drop off, and you will get a new appreciation for food. It will no longer control you!

Intermittent fasting has many other health benefits. Not only can you lose weight and keep it off, but you can become healthier and feel younger than you have in a long time. Many women have found Intermittent Fasting to be a good natural remedy for menopause symptoms.

That is huge for middle-aged women, especially those who are seeking alternative therapy for menopause relief. I can say that the Eat Stop Eat way of life has brought back vitality, youthfulness, and energy to my aging body.

I’m sorry you are having difficulty. One thing I learned is that it goes in stages. I’m not sure how long you’ve been doing IF, but I would suggest giving it some time. It also depends on the type of fasting that you are doing. When I hit a plateau, (and I’ve hit many) I decided to change it up. Your body will become used to something and outsmart it, so you should try changing it up. I flip around between OMAD, 5:2, 16:8 and long fasts. Try just one simple addition. Don’t eat on Thursdays and Fridays, then eat supper like normal on Friday night. That’s what I do if I need a little kick start. Good luck!

  2. could you be stressing your body to the point of creating too much cortisone by working out so hard ? I wonder if you might actually have better results if you went for more gentle exercise with the intermittent fasting ?
