  1. I love making and drinking kombucha. But every time I drink mine, I have a hot flash/hormone surge. I wonder why?? I’ve been suffering with menopausal hot flashes/hormone surges (feels like adrenaline or cortisol rush; SO
    uncomfortable) for 7+ years.

  2. Maybe it’s the caffeine in it. Try drinking ice water 30 minutes after to flush the caffeine, toxins and excess hormones out, otherwise I would get irritated. I had to give up morning coffee because my hot flashes and night sweats were getting so bad. I drink only 5 ounces of kombucha in the morning because I’m still detoxing. Then water to flush the toxins and caffeine. Switched to iced green tea for my lunch caffeine and then ice water, it works for that afternoon boost. Avoid alcohol, especially when you first start kombucha because you will go through a detox period; start slowly.
