Reverse Menopause with PRP Therapy

Discover how your own blood can heal you. PRP Therapy, or Platelet Rich Plasma has been used in rehab clinics for quite some time to heal sports injuries. Recently, new studies have come out that suggest PRP may be able to rejuvenate other damaged cells.

What is (PRP) Platelet Rich Plasma?

I stumbled upon PRP by accident. I was studying research papers on menopause reversal when I discovered several recent studies where women were injected with their own plasma, kickstarting their ovaries.

Even after 5 years post menopause, PRP was injected into a woman’s ovaries, with great results. A viable egg was actually extracted and fertilized. This is huge for those women who have gone into menopause early for whatever reason and can no longer have children.

It was amazing to find out that your own blood can heal your body, and restart your menstrual cycle, or heal a bad knee, or regrow hair on a balding head.

Now, I just want to mention that I’m not a doctor or a medical professional at all. I merely did some research, and am presenting it to you. It’s up to you to check the facts. I will leave all research links at the end of my post for further study as well as a health disclaimer.

Going forward, I discovered that not only has this cutting edge researched improved the lives of both men and women, but animals as well.

It’s fascinating when you think about all the healing qualities in your own blood, and it makes you wonder if you need medications at all.

Could it be that all you really need is your own blood?

Platelet Rich Plasma is just a fancy name for the liquid gold part of you blood. In simple terms, if you donated blood, you would see it all one color in the vile.

You’ve all seen your own blood in a vile, be it from donating it, or going to the lab for some tests that needed to be done.

Once they have a sample of your blood in a vile, they put it into a special machine. The name of it is not important. It basically looks like one of those machines you put your paint in to get it shaken up at the paint store.

Once it’s all shaken up, the heaviest part of your blood, the red part, settles on the bottom. The light part sits on top and looks golden. That is a concentration of your platelets.

It’s as good as gold.

The concentration of platelets is what makes up PRP.

How Does It Work?

The way it works is actually simpler than I thought.

After watching several videos of health care practitioners injecting it, I came to realize the magic happens just by a little poke.

Take for example, balding treatments. They take a bit of blood from you, shake it up to get the Platelet Rich Plasma to float at the top, then inject that right into your scalp.

It has been proven to reverse baldness after about 6 treatments, once a month. You have to go in for maintenance at least once a year after that.

Naturally, the treatment you’d receive for ovaries would be more complex. Still, there is no risk for HIV or other blood borne diseases because they use your own blood.

The premise behind PRP therapy is to stimulate your own healing by introducing platelets into a damaged area, creating a temporary inflammation, promoting healing through your own human growth hormones.

If you don’t know what platelets are, they are basically your cells. They float around in your blood, ready and waiting for a job. Their job is to find damage and repair it.

Think of it like this. If you cut your finger, your platelets will rush in and clot the blood so that it can heal the wound.

That’s what we’re talking about here.

Think of the possibilities of this new emerging science.

What other things can we heal with PRP therapy?

How Can PRP Help You?

I for one could benefit from PRP therapy. Specifically in menopause. What if all you had to do is get those platelets to the parts of your body that need help.

Would you even have to go through menopause?

Would you be fertile longer?

For those women who have suffered miscarriages and fertility, wouldn’t this be a welcome therapy? Millions are spent on IVF and infertility treatments every year.

What if all you need is your own blood?

Instead of hip or knee replacement, what if all you need is to be injected with your own PRP and your blood will automatically go into repair mode and fix the problem.

And what about heart issues? What if you could do away with open heart surgery? I remember what my mother went through with heart valve replacement surgery.  It was unbelievable the trauma her body had to go through for this procedure.

What if PRP was all she needed?

Think of it, cancer cells, blood clots, back injuries, head injuries. What if all you really need is the healing qualities of your own blood platelets.

I for one will continue to keep my eye on this state-of-the-art regenerative research and how it progresses. This may change the face of medicine as we know it.

Other Ways To Get PRP

Because I’m an Intermittent Faster, I know a little bit about the Human Growth Hormone. That is the factor that promotes the functionality of these platelets as well as proplatelet formation and platelet production.

Think of umbilical cord blood that is rich in both.

Your platelets, or cells, are like cars driven to the right place at the right time to heal. The Human Growth Hormone, is the hormone responsible for refueling your car (cells) in your body.

So, getting back to Intermittent Fasting, it is a proven fact that when you fast, you produce 2000 times the normal Human Growth Hormone. So, if this is the case, why aren’t more people doing Intermittent Fasting?

It is one of the main reasons I live an Intermittent Fasting lifestyle. You can read more about that in my IF article here.

If HGH is associated with healing the body through your PRP, then if we are to promote the body healing naturally, Intermittent Fasting is a valuable resource.

Not only that, but Intermittent Fasting promotes better circulation among other huge benefits to the body. If your blood circulates better, wouldn’t that promote better health?

Does sickness have a direct correlation to blood circulation, or lack thereof?

If your blood doesn’t circulate well, then toxins form in the body creating sickness. If your blood does circulate well, the platelets can get in there and fix the problem.

Take for example, balding. Isn’t that just a circulation issue? The blood doesn’t flow to the head as well as it should, so the hair is cut off from the blood and platelets. That is perhaps why so many are going in for PRP therapy to promote hair growth.

It’s circulation of YOUR BLOOD. Because your BLOOD heals!

There are other ways to promote circulation. We’ve covered Intermittent Fasting. That is my ultimate favorite. I’ve noticed circulation improvement big time since starting IF.

But if you don’t want to do IF, you can try other food therapies. There have been many that have tried raw food diets, or juicing for a short time, to clean the toxins or heal the gut. People have reported that these methods helped with circulation immensely.

Everyone is different though, so I encourage you to seek out what works for you. Just get that blood flowing any way you can. Get out and exercise, and do what you’ve got to do to move those platelets around your body, so they can do their job.

Where To Get Treatment?

And in the end, if you want to try this cutting edge treatment, you can’t just walk into your doctors office and get it done. It hasn’t been approved as a treatment in Canada or by the U.S Food and Drug administration yet, as of 2018 when this blog post was written, but maybe one day it will be.

It isn’t however, an illegal substance, because it’s not a doping agent.  Its your own blood.

Like any experimental treatment, you get it done at your own risk. It has been widely used in the physiotherapy field for a while now, for chronic back injuries, sports injuries like tennis elbow, or injuries from car accidents.

So if you want to get it done, you have to seek out a private clinic. It’s not covered under insurance due to its experimental treatment status, so it can be costly.

Rehab clinics offer treatments all around the world. You can find them in Belgium, Canada, and various part of the  U.S. Below is a list of some of them:

Be prepared to pay the big bucks!

Procedures are said to cost anywhere from $300 to $1200 per treatment. That doesn’t fit in my pocket book, so I’ll stick to natural ways to get my blood circulating.

It’s a lot safer and cheaper that way! Hopefully one day this new science will take off and you can chuck all your medications in the garbage forever!

Now wouldn’t that be nice!
