I suddenly became scent sensitive at age 52. I assume it’s because of years of harsh chemicals in my system, but who knows why for sure. All I know is I can’t tolerate the harsh chemicals like I use to.
Take for example, dryer sheets. I got rid of these toxic bad boys and opted for a natural alternative instead. Dryer ‘balls’ by Norwex.

WHAT IS NORWEX?
I was first introduced to the Norwex company by my daughter Renee who is a consultant for them.
She invited me to a home party. To be honest, I had never heard of Norwex before. I didn’t really know what to expect.
She said they sell cleaning products.
Well, sure, I use cleaning products. But for the most part, at that time, I just bought the harsh chemical sprays and cleaners. I didn’t think anything was wrong with them.
I hadn’t experienced a reaction to perfumes and smells yet, and I didn’t understand the importance of chemical-free cleaning.
This company is all about chemical-free cleaning. They have spent a ton of money on researching the best cleaning products to get the job done.
ARE THEY A NATURAL ALTERNATIVE?
Yes! Norwex is a chemical-free natural alternative to using traditional cleaning products.
My daughter prides herself in using chemical-free products in her home so her little ones don’t suffer the effects of toxins like we did.
I love that, and I appreciate that as an older adult, struggling with the effects of toxins in my body. No more! I should have realized I needed to give up harsh chemicals long ago.
But we just didn’t think like that back when we were raising kids, or at least I didn’t. Cleaning meant bleach and chemical-smelling bathrooms. That, to me, was what a clean fresh bathroom smelled like.
Well, now we have to pay. Now, with all the cancers and skin issues, we shake our heads at these harsh toxins and understand that there has got to be a better way.
I’m glad there is. Norwex seems to be the answer. Let’s explore.
WHAT ARE SOME OF THEIR BEST PRODUCTS?
As I mentioned above, I switched from using dryer sheets to these strange things called dryer balls.
I had never heard of these before. I had no idea how they worked until my daughter told me how they work.
They are made of wool and they take the static out of your laundry as you put them through the dryer. I have three balls.
You can actually buy these balls in other stores, though I had no idea about them. But, as was pointed out to me, the cheap imitations don’t hold a candle to the originals that Norwex sells.
You really do get what you pay for, plus most products they sell have a 7 year warranty with recommended use and care. So, those dryer balls will last a long time.
I use mine every week when I do my laundry now. No harsh smells, and no chemicals blowing around. I had heard that dryer sheets are full of hormones and when inhaled, create all kinds of problems with your system.
Perhaps that’s why menopause symptoms and side effects are so prevalent in today’s society. 100 years ago that wasn’t the case. Women didn’t seem to suffer during menopause as much as we do today, and this might be why.
I was also made aware that dryer sheets are used to kill mice. If you stuff them in a corner where mice are, you won’t have a mice problem. Incredible! And we use them in our laundry every day. YUCK!
Are we slowly killing ourselves with these toxic chemicals?
Dryer balls are not the only best-seller Norwex has to brag about. There are many others! I have the Enviro cloth too. It’s wonderful for cleaning up spills and can even clean your entire house without as much as one drop of harsh chemicals or detergents. That’s incredible!
HOW MUCH DO THEY COST?
Norwex is more pricey when it comes to cost. However, I’d like to point out that I have wasted tons of money on chemical cleaning supplies from Walmart that haven’t lasted as long as Norwex products do.
One Enviro cloth can last a long time. It may be more costly than a cheap imitation but the durability makes it cost-effective. So, you do that math.
I have an Enviro cloth that I purchased a few years ago, and it is still going strong. I can’t believe it cleans without me having to use a cleaner.
The silver that is interwoven into the cloths are antibacterial and keeps surfaces clean. Even dirty toilets. Now that’s amazing!
So, once again. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to Norwex. Not only that, but you get to keep your health. That, to me, is worth more than a million bucks!

In conclusion, I am glad I found a company that is dedicated to saving lives. Norwex does it one product at a time. Instead of destroying my lungs using bleach and other harsh chemicals, I now have a great natural alternative.

As I age, I can be assured the toxic levels in my body will not get any worse because I have a natural solution.
